DOUBLE FEATURE

Beneath the Weight of Eternity
by And So We Weep

This composition explores creation and destruction. The transience of the good things we experience is contrasted against the fact that they end. This juxtaposition creates pain, yet makes the wonderful times sweeter. These elements are explored as melodies begin to overlap and clash creating a cacophony that resolves in peace.

Seed Stories
by Melissa Wilhoit

The stories of our mothers, grandmothers and sisters, for better or worse, inform and inspire who we are and who we become. Their words are the seeds that sprout compassion, confidence, disdain and insecurity into our DNA. Enter our greenhouse, hear our stories, witness our growth.

And So We Weep

Inspired by early NYC no-wave And So We Weep creates instrumental guitar compositions using a single guitar and an army of guitar pedals. Layering loops create lush noise soundscapes where beauty and dissonance combine.
