DOUBLE FEATURE

YELLOW
by C. Alex Webster

Yellow, based on the 1892 short story The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins-Gilman, is an exploration of a woman's internal life when the lights go off and the world fades away. Loneliness and being alone are two different things, but they can be experienced in tandem. How do we cope with loneliness? How do we manage our wild imaginations when our musings have nowhere to go? Who can we turn to for the "real truth", and what does "real" even mean?

Alien Dissection
by Pink Tofu

For your HUMAN enjoyment, we are unleashing THE STRANGER for limited engagements. To maintain the INTEGRITY OF YOUR HUMAN FLESH, we have reduced the intensity of THE STRANGER'S AURA. It is still highly recommended that you prepare yourself to be SEDUCED, RIDICULED, ENCOURAGED, WORSHIPPED, BEGGED, THREATENED, OR OTHERWISE MANIPULATED into telling THE GALACTIC TRUTH!

WARNING: THIS IS FOR EARTH HUMANS ONLY. ALL OTHER FORMS OF LIFE WILL BE HEAVILY SCRUTINIZED AND COULD HAVE THEIR ESSENCE CONSUMED ENTIRELY.

I'm a performer, collaborator, and educator. I have an MFA in Theatre Performance and Pedagogy from Texas Tech University, and a BA in Theatre and Fine Arts Communications from Brevard College. I'm originally from the Carolinas and am currently based out of Oklahoma. My recent projects include the development of a new play called "9 in the Morning", which features the inaugural use of bone-conducting headphones in a theatrical setting. I employ performance-based research to create theatre and am researching methods of performing Golden Age Musicals in a contemporary context. I love playing piano, guitar, and ukulele, and I can't resist a competitive game of Scrabble!
