stroke of genius: panto-mime masturbation throughout performing arts history

by Shane mayforth

This professor takes "jacking around" VERY seriously. Presenting Dr. Walter Winkworth-PΓ©rez, academia's foremost expert on pantomime masturbation theory and practicum. In this prestigious multi-media lecture series, he examines panto-masturbation techniques from Mesopotamia to the present day. This week's syllabus examines the career of that great 1920s clown, The Spankin' Shyster.

(Boiled Horse Productions) is part of the Tampa Fringe community down in Florida. After a long hiatus, his comedy partner dragged him back to the stage for "Vulva Va-Voom: Hollywood Psychic of the Golden Age," in which he provides the voice of a puppet haunted by Jimmy Stewart. (TIFF's "The Edge" Award, '22; juried selection, Orlando Fringe Winter Mini-Fest, '23.) Following a successful month-long run in Tampa, "Stroke" will be going to Orlando WMF '24 and...perhaps a university near you? In his home life, he continually strives to become a better father to his cats and step-cats (equally).
