A performance based on the pursuit and embodiment of radical vulnerability, the solo involves audience participation, blindfolds, rollerskates and a little dance. Performer and audience face what it means to be liable for our actions amidst age old angst. Show contains nudity.

corr de joch

was raised by coyotes (self and brother). They never much liked or understood the attraction to Monopoly - the game or lifestyle - but found other uses for some of the accessories after making alterations. From a life of lurking along the fringes of this disposable culture and little luck making much sense of it, Corr still means to make a new sense from its ruins as it collapses around us...

Michael Figueroa

Michael Figueroa is a performance maker and dance teacher currently residing in Asheville, NC. His dances navigate rule-breaking, rote and body memory, personal anecdotes, audience participation, and set/improvised situations. His work has been commissioned by SPACE Gallery (ME), Dance Now Boston, Outside the Box Festival, Mobius Artists Group (MA), and The Dance Complex (MA). Michael attended The Boston Conservatory and graduated with a BFA in dance.
