The Garden of Edith is a solo show that takes you on a journey through the seasons exploring the question: Why farming? You will experience dance alongside personal anecdotes and a plethora of characters searching for their reasons why.

 

Kathleen Niemann

Kathleen Niemann is an Asheville based multidisciplinary artist and teacher. Originally from Louisville, KY, she earned a BFA in Acting with a Minor in Dance from Ball State University. After graduating she moved to Chicago where she produced her first solo show, The One's to Remember, as well as performing in numerous plays, devised pieces and commercials. Her performance art includes documentary style solo shows with an emphasis on dance and nature. You can view more of her work at kathleenniemann.com.
